Top 10 NFL Moments of the Season

From amazing touchdowns to clutch game-winning plays, the 2024-25 NFL season was full of excitement every Sunday. Here’s our top ten list of moments that fans will remember for a long time.

10 – The 99-Yard Pick-Six (Week 2)

Jets rookie cornerback Devon Barclay made a great play on a slant at his own goal line, took it all the way back, and helped turn the game around for a close win against the Patriots.

9 – McPherson’s 63-Yard Walk-Off FG (Week 9)

Cincinnati's kicker nailed the longest game-winning kick in the team's history just as time ran out against Buffalo, and the whole city went wild.

8 – Lamar’s 5-TD Snow Showcase (Week 14)

With snow blowing around M&T Bank Stadium, Jackson scored three rushing touchdowns and two passing touchdowns, making a strong case for MVP.

7 – A Rookie’s Four-Sack Debut

Dallas edge rusher Jaxon Reed made a strong impression in his first NFL game, tallying four sacks and forcing a fumble with his nonstop pressure.

6 – “Helmet Catch 2.0” in Germany

The game between the Chiefs and Panthers in Munich featured an amazing catch: Carolina's Darnell Moore managed to pin the ball to his facemask for a 35-yard gain, leading to the winning score.

5 – Tua’s 550-Yard Passing Masterpiece

Tua Tagovailoa tore apart the Raiders’ defense, racking up the third-highest single-game yardage total ever, and he finished with a perfect 158.3 rating.

4 – Mahomes Converts 4th-&-25 No-Look

With the game on the line, Mahomes threw a quick sidearm pass to Travis Kelce, keeping the drive alive and helping secure the AFC West title.

3 – The 28-Point Wild-Card Comeback

After being down 35-7 at halftime, the Browns came back strong with Deshaun Watson leading the way and a tough defense in the second half to surprise the Chargers 41-38.

2 – CMC’s Overtime Walk-Off Run in the NFC Championship

Christian McCaffrey slid outside on a 3rd-and-goal play, outsmarting two Eagles defenders and helping the 49ers make it to the Super Bowl.

1 – Waddle’s Back-of-the-End-Zone Toe-Tap to Seal Super Bowl LIX

With just 28 seconds to go, Tua threw a nice fade to Jaylen Waddle, who managed to keep both toes inbounds for the winning touchdown. That play sealed Miami's 24–17 win and will always be a top highlight.
